With Montrealers’ still digging their way out from a record-breaking snowfall and holiday excess, there hasn’t been much of interest on Kijiji and Craigslist… until today. Sweet dreams!
Flou Nathalie Queen Bed
Flou launched in 1978, aiming to “revolutionize sleep culture”: I suspect the founder simply hated making his bed.
His genius lay in challenging famed Italian architect and MOMA-worthy designer Vico Magistretti to create a multi-functional, attractive & easily “fluffed” with the flick-of-a-duvet-wrist design – the Nathalie bed. If you love today’s modern platform beds, you owe Vico & Flou a debt.
Here’s a red twill canvas Flou Nathalie queen bed, complete with mattress. Covers are easily machine washed, and fingers crossed that it includes the cantilevered storage base. Retails new in the thousands. I’ve tossed in two catalogue pics below.
